Description
These junior training sessions take place at Chew Valley Leisure Centre from 6pm to 7pm on Tuesdays. You can book for the term at a discount, or book individual week-by-week sessions by selecting the ones you’d like from the dropdown list.
These sessions are suitable for players who are beginners, those relatively new to badminton and for primary school aged players. The focus is on giving a fun introduction to the sport, learning basic skills and rules so players can play a full match with their friends and families or at school.
Juniors who have attended before should carry on coming to the same session unless advised otherwise by Will. For new players, let us know which day you would like to attend, and we’ll let you know which session is suitable.
Sessions are £6.50 pay-as-you-go, or you can block book for the term at a discounted rate. If you block book for more than one session a week in a single transaction there is a further discount.
Badminton England affiliation
All players require Badminton England affiliation which is £5.50 for 12-18 year olds for the year, free for under 12s, and includes insurance for club sessions.
Alternate weeks
For families where children spend weekends in different places, we can organise a bespoke booking option for the term for alternate weeks or whatever fits your circumstances. Please get in touch with Judith at secretary@chewvalleybadmintonclub.org.uk to discuss.
