Description
Junior training sessions take place at Chew Valley Leisure Centre. These sessions are only open to players in secondary school Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
NB there are exams in the hall so the sessions do not run all the way through May/June. The term dates are:
April 25
May 2
June 20, 27
July 4, 11, 18, 25
August 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
To book individual week-by-week sessions select the ones you’d like from the dropdown list. The cost if you book for individual sessions is £8 per player. Alternatively you can book for the whole term at a discounted rate, and there is a further discount for families block booking more than one session / place per week in a single transaction.
Badminton England affiliation
All players require Badminton England affiliation which is £6 for 12-18 year olds for the year, and includes insurance for club sessions.
Important information for parents
• Players must be booked for sessions a minimum of 24 hours in advance.
• Please ensure that players arrive a few minutes before the session starts, so they can be signed in before they enter the courts.
• If for any reason the junior coach keeping the register is not available (just outside double door entrance), bring your child(ren) into the hall and ensure your child(ren) have been registered before leaving.
• At the end of the session, children must be collected on time from the area where they were registered. Please note, children must be collected from the hall by a parent or carer.
• If there is any changes to your child’s medical conditions or any additional needs, please fill in a new player registration form. Any information about specific medical conditions must be briefed to the coach in charge of the session and in some cases we may require parents or carers to remain in the hall in case of emergencies.
